Hello, my name is Jim, I am not a shemale and I am not gay. I started shemale central around 1996. Back then there were not a lot of shemale sites around, and there were only 2 commercial shemale sites. Most of the others were personal web pages with little content. Shemale Central is one of the longest running independent free shemale sites on the web! I started Shemale Central on a personal dial-up account and finally got around to registering a domain name in 1997.

What made me start a shemale site? Well of course I knew a couple shemales and draqs, so I've seen shows. I thought it would be a great idea to produce a web site dedicated to this and keep it 100% free! Over the years shemale central has gone threw a lot of changes, and sadly I've left it abanded for periods of times. At one time shemale central use to average over 4000 unique hits a day! Now it averages about 300 uniqies a day. A large part of that is because over the years the shemale market has become very saturated! Unlike 1996-97 when I could count the shemale sites on my fingers, these days they are well over the thousand!

So how come after 9 years I still keep Shemale Central going? Call it a labor of love, or call it loyalty. Shemale Central was one of my first web sites, and has a lot of history for me. I will keep it going as long as I can!

On March 21, 2007 SheMale Central turns 10 years old!
